AYURVEDIC EDUCATION

Ayurveda is a holistic practice that incorporates mind, body, and spirit:

Medicinal Herb

Ayurveda is experiential, which means that the choices we make about our experiences change our bodies—including our choices about food, personal relationships, sensory experiences, sleep, work, social interactions, and daily routine.
     -   As we shift our experiences, our biology shifts because our biology is the metabolism of experience.
     -   Approximately 95% of all chronic illness can be reversed and prevented by our daily lifestyle choices. Ayurveda offers tools and guidance to help us do this.

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It is considered one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems and is still widely practiced in India and other parts of the world today. Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of balance and harmony in all aspects of life, including diet, lifestyle, exercise, and the use of herbal remedies. It is based on the idea that the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected, and that each person has a unique constitution, or "dosha," that determines their physical, emotional, and mental characteristics. Ayurvedic treatments can include various herbal remedies, dietary changes, massage, meditation, and other holistic therapies. Ayurveda is not only a system of medicine but also a way of life that encourages people to live in harmony with nature and their own unique constitution.
